If Destruction Is Our Future, Then We Are To Blame

Today Americans have stopped acting in terms of their own moral, ethical religious beliefs and principles. They stopped acting on what they know was right, and the "me attitude" has become the measure of everything. However, moral societies are the only ones that work. Now that America has ceased to be one, I'm hard pressed to find any country in the World that is.

If anyone thinks there is not a direct relationship between personal integrity and a society's prosperity, that person has simply not studied history. Societies that are built upon faith in God, honor, and the respect of law. blossom like a flower in the sun.

Some 160 years ago the French historian Alexis de Tocqueville wrote that "America is great because America is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great." Today I look at America, and what I see is a nation that is no longer good, nor great. We are a nation in decline. Just as Israel failed to be great when they turned from God, so too has America.

With Biden in the WH, we can expect many more of those building blocks that made America great to be romoved in the next few years. We are to blame though, because for too long we accepted the destruction of our counry by returning the same politicians to power year after year. Politicians who care more for their power, than they do for our freedoms. We elected Trump, and he did a great job, but the cancer was too far gone to remove it. So far gone, that even those we expected to fight for us, helped remove him.

We are at a point in time where we could be subject to the government ordering millions of Americans to take a drug into their body that could kill them. How did we get here? Well, many years ago, we Americans sold our freedom down the drain so that we could have the luxeries of life. In order to keep up with the Jones's, we, turned our back on our children's education, by handing them over to Communists to be educated them. While we enjoyed the fruits of our labor, four generations of children grew up with faith in government, but none is GOD.

We worked hard, and played hard, while we allowed our education system, and entertainment indistry to turn our childern into heathens. Just look at what they do, what they wear, how they speak, and the lack of respect they have for life. America was founded on biblical principles with the intent to guarantee freedom of worship. But over time, we have removed GOD from many aspects of public life. Prayer in schools, for instance, was deemed unconstitutional. What was once a “nation under God” has turned into a country that tolerates a growing number of sins and yet belittles absolute truth.

When a nation turns its back on GOD, His judgment is inevitable unless the people repent and make Him the Lord of their life once again. As believers, our responsibility is to pray that God would draw the heart of our country back to Himself, and to help spread the Gospel through our land. Unless we repent as Nineveh did when Jona preached to them, we as a natyion are finished. If we don't, then what is happening is just going to get worse.
