"As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another,
as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."

(1 Peter 4:10)

Donations appreciated for the Bangladesh Calvary Christian Ministry I am supporting in Bangladesh

I am doing a fundraiser to help finance a mission I help in Bangladesh. It is run by Pastor Billa Mangal Das. Bill travels as far as 1292 kilometers in his quest to teach over 1630 children, teens, and some young adults in Bangladesh. Some classes have as few as 11 children and some have over 300 students. He covers 5 Districts and 20 towns in his travels very week.

Bill does most of his travel on foot, or a bicycle. Sometimes, if he can afford it, he will rent a car or a motorcycle, but that is rare. During the Summer, he will often times travel at nighttime, because it is too hot to travel long distances in the day time.

I prepare the study outlines he uses and have been helping finance his mission for some time, but his mimistry has grown, and it is beyond my ability alone to sustain it. I am currently writing outlines and study notes for both the young chilldren in the book of Matthew, and older ones I am doing outlines and study in the book of Acts.

Billas needs are extensive, but mostly he needs Bibles, which must be transferred a long way and in secret so that they are not taken away and because Bibles are not sold in stores like in America. He is also in need of writing tablets, pencils, and even if possible a motorcycle to make his travels easier. Which will allow him to reach even more towns with is ministry.

Billa's prays that one day he could begin a children's orphanage to care for the many homeless children he comes across. The country of Bangladesh is 90% Muslim, and they are not friendly with Christians, so most of his students are either homeless, or children of very poor families.

Feel free to leave a comment, and it will be posted immediately. However, if your comment is offensive in anyway, it will be removed.

I welcome differing opinions, I do believe in free speech, just not vulgar cuss laden comments written for the only purpose of offending people in general.

Differing opinions is not what I refer to, go ahead and disagree, but in a polite way so we can have a logical respectful discussion.

By offensive, I mean by being vulgar, as in swearing, using God's name in vain, or derogatorily offensive in a way you would not talk to your own Grandmother, Mother, or daughter, and then the comment will be removed.

I may not respond to your comment promptly, and there is no way with blogger for me to respond directly to your comment,. So come back and look for me to respond in a new comment to you by the name you post your comment with.
