When Your Children Ask, “What Happened?” Tell Them That Americans Said “It Didn’t Matter”

(Could someone please lock the door and throw away the key?)

From May 25 to September 17, 1787, 55 men attended the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. Their plan was to create a government that would be effective in carrying out it’s essential tasks, such as foreign policy and national defense. A government that would not resemble the European governments, where the exercise of governmental power was arbitrary and without limits. These men spent 116 days in a room with the doors locked and all the windows closed, at a time when air conditioning did not exist. They wanted to create a Constitution that would constrain the power of the government over the people while still guaranteeing a representative processes of government.

After the constitution was finalized, a woman asked Benjamin Franklin;

“Well Doctor, what have we got, a Republic or a Monarchy?”
To which Mr. Franklin replied,
“A republic, madam – if you can keep it.“

Today we are on the verge of replacing the rights given to us by those men, with a government that will be in control of all aspects of our everyday life. In 2010 Americans stood up and told the government we want our freedom back. In 2012, the Americans stood firm in their demand by keeping a divided government that was supposed to limit it’s influence over our lives.

Obama was reelected, but not because Americans approved of his job, he was reelected because 4 million conservatives stayed home. Now we must live with him until he is termed out, but it doesn’t mean we have to like him, or agree with him. The vast majority of those who did vote for him, were unaware of many things he has done.



Sadly, if the media had done it’s job and informed the voters about the things Obama has been doing, his residence would no longer be listed in the phone book as 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Instead the media has become nothing more than a mouth piece of the left.

That being said. If the low information voters actually cared about the truth, they could easily have found it. Unfortunately, they care more about the things going on with such low life individuals as the Kardashians, or who is the best singer on American Idol, than they do about the country their children and grandchildren will inherit one day.

The constitution given to us by those 55 men in Philadelphia, allows us to replace our leaders when they fail to do what we elected them to do. It is actually our constitutional obligation to invite them to spend more time with their families while we send others to represent the will of the people. Unlike the Americans who were grateful for the freedoms given them by the founding fathers, today’s Americans have failed to keep what they gave us.

Well, Obama has now been president for almost 58 Months. In that time there has been many “Whens” popping up.  I suggest you print out the following list and title it, “Americans said, It didn’t matter”. Keep the list in a place that will make it easy for you to find someday. Maybe in the bottom of your sock drawer, or in the old cookie jar you have been keeping those worthless dollar bills that cannot even buy a candy bar any longer. Then one day in the future when your children or grandchildren ask you what happened to America. You can just hand the list to them so they can learn the truth which their teachers and the media will never tell them.

WHEN – Obama had Eric Holder and the Justice Department drop voter intimidation charges against three members of the New Black Panther Party who threatened voters while blocking a Philadelphia polling station and brandishing a deadly weapon, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he refused to disclose who donated money to his election campaign, as other candidates had done, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN -he received endorsements from people like Louis Farrakhan, Muramar Kaddafi and Hugo Chavez, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – it was pointed out that he was a total newcomer and had absolutely no experience at anything except community organizing, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he chose friends and acquaintances such as Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn who were revolutionary radicals, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN -his voting record in the Illinois Senate and in the U.S. Senate came into question, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he refused to wear a flag lapel pin and did so only after a public outcry, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – people started treating him as a Messiah and children in schools were taught to sing his praises, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he stood with his hands over his groin area for the playing of the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he surrounded himself in the White House with advisors who were pro-gun control, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage and wanting to curtail freedom of speech to silence the opposition, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he said he favors sex education in kindergarten, including homosexual indoctrination, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – his personal background was either scrubbed or hidden and nothing could be found about him, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN -the place of his birth was called into question, and he refused to produce a birth certificate, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he had an association in Chicago with Tony Rezco- a man of questionable character and who is now in prison and had helped Obama to a sweet deal on the purchase of his home, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – it became known that George Soros, a multi-billionaire Marxist, spent a ton of money to get him elected, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he started appointing White House Czars that were radicals, revolutionaries, and even avowed Marxist /Communists, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he stood before the Nation and told us that his intentions were to “fundamentally transform this Nation” into something else, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – it became known that he had trained ACORN workers in Chicago and served as an attorney for ACORN, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he appointed cabinet members and several advisers who were tax cheats and socialists, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he appointed a Science Czar, John Holdren, who believes in forced abortions, mass sterilizations and seizing babies from teen mothers, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he appointed Cass Sunstein as Regulatory Czar who believes in “Explicit Consent,” harvesting human organs without family consent and allowing animals to be represented in court, while banning all hunting, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he appointed Kevin Jennings, a homosexual and organizer of a group called Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Education Network as Safe School Czar and it became known that he had a history of bad advice to teenagers, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he appointed Mark Lloyd as Diversity Czar who believes incurtailing free speech, taking from one and giving to another to spread the wealth, who supports Hugo Chavez, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Valerie Jarrett, an avowed Socialist, was selected as Obama’s Senior White House Advisor, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Anita Dunn, White House Communications Director, said Mao Tse Tung was her favorite philosopher and the person she turned to most for inspiration, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he appointed Carol Browner, a well-known socialist as Global Warming Czar working on Cap and Trade as the nation’s largest tax, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he appointed Van Jones, an ex-con and avowed Communist as Green Energy Czar, who since had to resign when this was made known, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Tom Daschle, Obama’s pick for Health and Human Services Secretary could not be confirmed because he was a tax cheat, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – as President of the United States, he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he traveled around the world criticizing America and never once talking of her greatness, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN - his actions concerning the Middle East seemed to support the Palestinians over Israel, our longtime ally, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he took American tax dollars to resettle thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to the United States, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he upset the Europeans by removing plans for missile defense system against the Russians, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he played politics in Afghanistan by not sending troops early-on when the Field Commanders said they were necessary to win, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he started spending us into a debt that was so big we could not pay it off, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he took a huge spending bill under the guise of stimulus and used it to pay off organizations, unions, and individuals that got him elected, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he took over insurance companies, car companies, banks, etc., the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he took away student loans from the banks and put it through the government, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he designed plans to take over the health care system and put it under government control, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he claimed he was a Christian during the election and tapes were later made public that showed Obama speaking to a Muslim group and stating that he was raised a Muslim, was educated as a Muslim, and is still a Muslim, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he set into motion a plan to take over the control of all energy in the United States through Cap and Trade, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Obama betrayed the American people and authorized loans of billions of dollars to countries like Brazil and Mexico so that they can drill for oil, and then sell that oil to the United States which dramatically increases our dependence on foreign nations including Venezuela, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and even Libya that do not serve the interest of America or the American people while keeping the price of gas at the pump high, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Obama abdicated his responsibility to enforce the laws of the United States against illegal immigration thus declaring our southern border an open border by declaring certain areas of federal land in states like Arizona as off-limits to federal, state, and local authorities, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Obama violated his oath of office by joining with foreign countries such as Mexico, Bolivia, and Columbia, in lawsuits against the sovereign states of Arizona, Georgia, and Alabama to stop them from enforcing the federal immigration laws, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Obama ordered the Federal Communications Commission to adopt regulations giving the federal government control of the Internet and its contents, including providing Obama with a kill switch that gives him authority to shut down the Internet in direct violation of a decision by the United States Supreme Court that the FCC has no Constitutional authority to control the Internet, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Obama allowed Eric Holder to force legitimate and law-abiding gun store owners to supply weapons to buyers the government knew would be delivered to Mexican drug cartels to produce fraudulent data showing that large numbers of weapons were going from the United States to the Mexican drug dealers in an attempt to undermine the second amendment, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Obama told congress that he has authority to take our country to war without the Congressional approval required by Article 1, Section 8, of the Constitution, and that all he needs is the approval of the United Nations approval or NATO instead which directly violates the U.S.Constitution, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – Obama told the United Nations, that it was an anti-Islam video posted 9 Months earlier on YouTube that was the reason for the attack on Benghazi which took the life of 4 Americans including ambassador Stevens, the American people said it didn’t matter.
WHEN – he finally completed his transformation of America into a Socialist State, the American people woke up— but it was too late. Add these up one by one and you get a score that points to the fact that Barrack Hussein Obama is determined to turn America into a Marxist-Socialist society. All of the items in the preceding paragraphs have been put into place, and they can all be documented very easily.

This is but a small list of the many things Obama has done that if he were George Bush, even the Republicans would be calling for his impeachment. Obama not only got elected in 2008 when many of us on the right warned Americans that he would do these things, but he then got reelected in 2012 within two Months of the Benghazi Embassy debacle where he and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton both failed to answer the phone at 3:00 in the morning. The last “When” on this list has yet to be set in stone, but if we as a free people do not stop him, it will be.

As much as I despise Obama, neither him nor China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, or Islam are our biggest enemies today. If we are to remain a free people in America, then we must defeat our biggest enemy, which is our complacent selves.

Too many Americans are either unaware, or just don’t care about the rights they are losing. It’s time for those of us who know the truth, to stop trying to convince liberals they are wrong. Instead, we need to educate the complacent. It’s time we stop wasting our energy on liberals who are beyond reaching, and instead spend our time and energy on reaching the complacent.

If we cannot open the eyes of the low information voters, then we will never save the Republic from an enemy that will enslave us all. We need to educate the low information voters about why the government cannot, and never will satisfy their needs. The days of counting on our education system and the Fifth Estate to keep us informed about the truth are over. Today they are nothing more than indoctrination entities of the left.

No, we cannot count on them to do the right thing any longer. It is now up to us, educate the young minds full of mush, and inform the apathetic low information citizens about the truth, before they completely squander what freedoms they have left.

Our time is limited, and like those who fought and died to win freedom from King George, our resources are but a minute fraction of the enemy. However, regardless of the deck we have been dealt, we cannot afford to fail in 2014. If we do, the America given to us some 226 years ago will be lost forever.
