Burn Victime Found Innicent
Former Wall Street trader was badly burned in the blaze was aquited of all charges.
Jury calims they weren't swayed by sympathy for her - they just weren't sure she did
it. She was the only witness, and she testified her abbusive boyfriend started fire.
50 year old Agnes Bermudez, of New York City killed her ex-boyfriend, 32 year old William Salazar, and three neighbors on Father's Day back in 2008 when she set Salazar and herself on fire in a jealous rage. The three neighbors died when the building they were in went up in flames. The just released security video shows the couple engulfed in flames. Salazar can be seen running into the deli located downstairs from the apartment building looking for help.
The shopkeeper, Mohammed Almatari and George Zugajewicz eventually douse the couple with a flame retardant cleaning fluid while Bermudez falls to the ground and Salazar paces back and forth, holding his head. Four days later, Salazar would die in New York City's Hospital Burn Center. He had 3rd degree burns over 50% of his body.
What's forgotten is those who were killed from the fast moving blaze. The three upstairs neighbors were 68 year old Heriberto Garcia-Vera, his 48 year old wife Flor Sandoval, and their 20 year old son Felipe Garcia-Vera. No one had to answer for their senseless deaths.
It is being reported that Salazar's roommate, Raul Palacios, testified in Queens Supreme Court that William Salazar, bloodied the nose of Agnes Bermudez a month before the deadly blaze. "He jumped on her. He was mad. He was drunk," Palacios said of the May 2008 fight which he says began over a laptop computer. Bermudez fought back, he said, bashing Salazar on the arm and shoulder several times with her shoe. "He told me he was very sad about it. He couldn't believe he did that to a woman. He told me he never did it before." He also recalled Bermudez attacking Salazar inside a nightclub because he was dancing with another woman. "She started to yell at him, 'You are nothing. You owe me everything.' She gave him a slap."
What the MSM is not reporting about this case is what I found at Domestic Violence A Survivor's Story, it supports Agnes's roommate's testimony about her being a victim of domestic violence and that Salazar tried to kill her the morning they were both set on fire in his Queens apartment. The site was set up by friends and relatives of Agnes. The two photos below are of Agnes before and after the tragedy that claimed three lives.

I welcome differing opinions, I do believe in free speech, just not vulgar cuss laden comments written for the only purpose of offending people in general.
Differing opinions is not what I refer to, go ahead and disagree, but in a polite way so we can have a logical respectful discussion.
By offensive, I mean by being vulgar, as in swearing, using God's name in vain, or derogatorily offensive in a way you would not talk to your own Grandmother, Mother, or daughter, and then the comment will be removed.
I may not respond to your comment promptly, and there is no way with blogger for me to respond directly to your comment,. So come back and look for me to respond in a new comment to you by the name you post your comment with.
