Seems Americans Are Too Uneducated To Understand Obama

According to Paul J.J. Payack, president of Global Language Monitor, Americans are just not intelligent enough to understand what Obama was trying to say in his speech Tuesday evening. He says that Obama speech was written to a 9.8 grade level of understanding. I guess us hicks in the hinterland just don't git wat Obama were trying to tell us unejacated folk out here. Despite using slightly less than four sentences per paragraph, Payack says that because Obama used 19.8 words per sentence, that our ability to go comprehend what he was saying went right over our heads. Payack especially had a problem with the following sentence because he states that the phraseology used made him come off as aloof and out of touch.
"That is why just after the rig sank, I assembled a team of our nation's best scientists and engineers to tackle this challenge -- a team led by Dr. Steven Chu, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist and our nation's secretary of energy."
Excuse me, but did this so-called speech professional listen to the same speech America heard? After all, Obama's most strident defenders like leftist comrades Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman said that Obama speech was actually were Carteresque. A speech without direction they said. (see video) A speech that gave us no sense that he is in charge of the situation. Even Eugene Robinson turned on Obama after he failed to give a good speech from the Oval Office. If you are not sure who Eugene Robinson is, well he just happens to be one of the main Washington Post hacks who is always complaining about the gun-toting, Bible thumping, racist haters who are always complaining about everything Obama does or says. Well Robinson wrote that his "heart sank" when Obama began to babble on about Energy Secretary Steven Chu and his Nobel Prize.
First, he needed to enlist Americans in a holy crusade to halt the worst environmental disaster in our history. Instead, he told us about Dr. Chu's Nobel prize. For weeks, administration officials have been trumpeting Chu's distinction.
There were other leftists who were even harsher then the ones I cited above when it came to dissecting Obama's speech. Salon.com got in on the act of bashing the speech as "Just words as the Oval Office speech fizzles." Then there was the usually reliable Obama defender, "The Huffington Post", that carried articles Wednesday describing the presidential speech as vapid, profoundly underwhelming, with vague generalities that were empty of substance and totally lacking any conviction.

Fact is, the only positive thing the leftist in the MSM could even agree on was the $20 billion deal he coerced out of BP. We have always known that the elitists on the left look down upon us peasants in flyover country. However, to try and say that Obama's problem with his speech was we are too stupid to grasp what he was saying is a bit of a stretch to say the least. I guess what we should all get from this explanation for Obama's failure in reaching us is that we are just a bunch of ignorant fools.

Why Obama is so far ahead of us in intelligence, we just don't deserve such a great man to lead us. Truth be told, Obama is a prime example a person being educated beyond his intelligence, and who ever wrote what he read from the teleprompter is even dumber then he is. Never in my life have I seen such incompetence reach such a high level of authority as he has,. Obama is nothing more then a community activist who won a popularity contest.

Come next January he is going to find that a whole new breed of political leaders will be in Washington, and that he is not as bright as he thinks he is. I would advise him to start studying the constitution, because my guess is they will be spoon feeding it to him one constitutional right after another.

I welcome differing opinions, I do believe in free speech, just not vulgar cuss laden comments written for the only purpose of offending people in general.

Differing opinions is not what I refer to, go ahead and disagree, but in a polite way so we can have a logical respectful discussion.

By offensive, I mean by being vulgar, as in swearing, using God's name in vain, or derogatorily offensive in a way you would not talk to your own Grandmother, Mother, or daughter, and then the comment will be removed.

I may not respond to your comment promptly, and there is no way with blogger for me to respond directly to your comment,. So come back and look for me to respond in a new comment to you by the name you post your comment with.
