Message To Volunteers of Bangladesh Ministry

A Message To The Volunteers of My
Bangladesh Calvary Christian Ministry

by Chuck Ness

My dear brothers and sisters, this is your friend and mentor Chuck. I am sending this letter to all of you who have joined Christ Jesus to help Billa and me in our Calvary Christian Ministry for Bangladesh. Mind you, Billo and I are but servants of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, chosen by GOD to lead you in your walk by sharing that which the Holy Spirit has blessed us with. Silver and Gold we do not have, but that which we do we give to you.

My dear friends, I understand that many of you struggle in these times, since you must travel a long way to gather supplies and training which I send to Billa so he can graciously share with you. I truly realize the burden you are under, and as such I pray daily for you that our LORD will guide, protect, and bless you in your faithful duty to Him, our Lord Jesus. A lesson I wish to convey to you all, comes from Matthew 6:13-21. It is the time our Lord fed five thousand souls from five loaves of bread and two fish a young boy had. This gracious gift of a boy was used as a lesson by Jesus to show them how our GOD is the Provider of our needs. Yet there were those who wanted to have more than just faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they also wanted food and a Worldly King.

It is important for you to understand what our Lord Jesus taught us about the nature and character of the One True GOD, our FATHER in heaven. Jesus lived as an example so that His disciples, and those who followed and listened to Him, could see and understand what was important. When we read of the miracle performed to feed the people, we not only see the Divine power of Jesus on display, but we also see Jesus opening the spiritual eyes and minds of the disciples as to Who He was. The very God Incarnate among His people, fulfilling the prophecies spoken of by Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and the other prophets of Scripture.

In feeding the five thousand, Jesus displayed what He taught in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). That we should not worry about where we would get food and clothing along with our other needs, because GOD will provide for us as He does for the animals in the wild. In feeding the people, He not only filled their stomachs with natural food but also opened the door for them to understand that God feeds the soul as well with His Word.

Some of them understood that Jesus was not only a Provider but also the Promised Spiritual Savior of His people. Others saw him as the conqueror promised by the prophets who would lead a charge to slay the hated soldiers of Caesar. They looked forward to Jesus using His supernatural powers to drive the hated Romans from the land of Israel once and for all. Thus they would again be an independent Kingdom ruled by a descendant of the great and wonderful King David. Or so they thought.Yet the next day when Jesus then offered Himself as the Living Bread, and that they were to submit to Him as Lord and Savior, they abandoned Him. Soon, all that remained were His disciples and a handful of authentic followers. (John 6:25-71)

While GOD does give everyone the ability to work for their food and provisions as He pleases, there are times when we will fall under some kind of hardship. It’s during these times that GOD provides what we need. Oftentimes in an unexpected way. The Psalmist writes of God’s care for His people even when it looks like nothing is on the horizon (Psalm 37:25-26).

In Bangladesh you have seen many who will flock to the latest guru, teacher, motivational speaker, philosopher, or celebrity while accepting what they have to say without questioning them. Yet, when it comes to the One True GOD who has done nothing but love and offer them true salvation. Instead of listening and doing what is right, and good, they do everything in their power to downplay, discredit, blaspheme, and mock HIM. Mind you, the laziness and spiritual apathy of many Christians has done little to nothing to alleviate the world’s prejudice against Christ Jesus and His message of Salvation. The Hypocrisy attitude and lack of enthusiasm in sharing the Gospel with others does more damage to the Gospel than it does good. If the one sharing the Gospel does not come off like they believe it, then how are the listeners supposed to believe it? If a believer only comes to a Bible study for the food, then what does that say about the message of the Gospel? Listen to what Jesus said of those who only came for the food,

“Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

John 6:26-27

Other world religions, cults, and occult powers tell their followers that they have to do certain things or say the right words in order to appease the deities and World leaders if they want a chance to get into the heaven, paradise, nirvana, Shangri-La, Shambala, or wherever they think they go when they die. Jesus on the other hand tells everyone,

“Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you REST for your souls”

 (Matthew 11:28)

When you truly have a desire to share the Gospel of Jesus with the lost, do not think you need to offer food, or comfort, or shelter. Just share the Gospel. If their heart is truly desirous of accepting Jesus, they will come to Him regardless of what they may need physically. Remember what Jesus tells us,

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

(Matthew 11:28-30)

Present the truth of the Gospel, and I promise you that those who are in need of a spiritual awakening will come to Him freely, as they are. He will change the person from a lost soul craving the desires of the World, into a one who will want to live for His glory and grace. Preach the Word in season and out, and GOD will bring to you those suffering grief, those in pain, those with a wounded heart, a hungry soul, and the ones with a heavy sin burden. Believe me when I tell you that Jesus will bring them to you, and they will then lay their needs at the feet of Jesus.

Trust me when I tell you that more people suffer a hunger and thirst for righteousness and peace than they do for food or water. Those who only seek food or water, but not salvation will never be filled, because they chose instead to feast on the free food without truly accepting Jesus. Understand this, Jesus is not a meal ticket to a buffet of free food. True, there are times Jesus will provide for the physical hunger and needs of this World. However if He doesn’t, then it’s especially incumbent upon pastors, teachers, and yes even you volunteers, to understand that the number one job of all Christians is to follow the Great Commission.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus is our example, and in Jesus we must obey. To obey Jesus is to be like Jesus which is why we are called Christians. So as we share the Gospel we must always keep in the front of our minds the reason GOD sent HIS Son Jesus Christ to become incarnate. So that He could live as a man in a World that is nothing more than a sewer while fulfilling the requirements needed for Him to be the last sacrificial lamb to atone for our sins.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-19

My children please understand that my heart does go out to those who are in need of a physical meal, however you must understand that it is the souls which are truly in need of the spiritual food Jesus offers. Millions of people around the World are fed by charity organizations every day, yet in most cases they never ever hear the Gospel. What good is it to have a full stomach, only to be spiritually starving? If a man goes to the grave with a full stomach, but an empty soul, then he will spend eternity in hell. Forever separated from GOD. Yet, if a man dies of starvation, but his soul is saved, then he will spend eternity in the presence of GOD.

Now, I do not say you should all starve to death, because food is not the point I am trying to get across to you. The reason one comes to hear the Gospel lessons is the point I am trying to make. If someone comes to Jesus for a Worldly gift that will only satisfy them until the next meal, then they are coming for the wrong reason. It is one’s soul that needs satisfying, not one’s stomach. This is a lesson I expect all volunteers to properly understand for your’s and everyone’s benefit who are giving their life to Christ Jesus.

Eternity is forever, while a life in this World can be so short. Even if you live to be 100, that is but a fraction of blink of an eye compared to eternity in heaven, where there will be no sickness, no pain, no sorrow, no cloud, no night, no bitterness, no weariness, no remorse, no anguish, no sighs, no tears, no sadness, no dying, no broken hearts, no death-bed scenes, never a corpse, never a coffin, never a hearse, and never a grave will be seen in the beautiful eternal city where Christ has prepared a room for us in HIS FATHER’S mansion.

Please, I beseech each and everyone of you to read the Scriptures and understand that those of you who persevere will one day reap a reward beyond measure. I do not promise a life of ease and wealth, nor do I promise that you will be loved by those of the World. We are to look to Christ as the author and finisher of our faith, and in His example we know that the World hates Him and it will hate us. Truth is, being a Christian in this World is a sacrifice. Yet, what more can we offer the One who gave His life for us, than to offer our own life for Him?

Magnificent Holy Father I stand in awe of all I see

Of all the things You have created, but still You choose to think of me

Who am I that You should suffer Your very life to set me free

The only thing that I can give You Is the life You gave to me

This is my offering dear Lord, I give You my life

For it's all I have to give, because You gave Your life for me

Third Day, “My Offering”

One day we will all be standing together in heaven, casting our crowns of righteousness at the feet of Jesus. What we see now is but a World that has been dying since Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Consider this my friends, because Adam and Eve ate of the fruit to satisfy their physical desire, our flesh has been battling the spirit ever since. Thus we are like a man in prison on death row, awaiting to be executed for crimes we committed. Yes we are all but dead men walking in a World that has been condemned. Whether we are put to death today, tomorrow, or in 30 years from now, we will surely die one day. The question is not IF we will die, but rather where our soul will go when this body dies. Know this my children, Jesus not only died for our sins, but He then rose on the third day to prove we will rise again after this body dies.

When that time comes for each of us at our time, then we will be raised incorruptible and changed. For this corruptible body must put on incorruption, and our mortal being will become immortal. After death, but before this corruptible body even has a chance to begin the decaying process from death, we will be risen and given a body that will never die nor decay. Like Adam and Eve, before the fall, who were originally created to live forever, we too shall live for eternity with an incorruptible body. Assuredly I say to you, our soul currently resides in a mortal vessel, but after death our soul will be given a new immortal vessel to dwell in. Then we will realize what the prophet Hosea and Paul meant when they wrote,

“Death is swallowed up in victory.”

“O Death, where is your sting?

“O Hades, where is your victory?”

Hosea 13:14

The sting of death is sin, but thanks be to God, who gave us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my children, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:56-58

Understanding that I am with you in Spirit, even if I cannot be with you in person. I trust you will follow Billo’s teachings. Understanding that what I share with him, my heart is happy he shares with you, and I pray you will also share it with others. As you teach, I implore you to take heed what our Lord’s brother, James, tells us,

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

James 3:1

My children, I am but a simple man blessed by Christ to share what I know, however, lest you lead any of our Lord’s sheep astray when you teach, please for the sake of your eternal souls, do not just blindly teach what I send you, but rather be a true Berean by comparing what I write with the Scriptures. I do expect you to study and learn what I write, but the Scriptures tell us that steel sharpens steel, so do your due diligence to always be sure that which you teach aligns correctly with the Word. This will call for you to put extra time in your studies, but if you desire to teach you should want to do so.

Finally brethren, I expect all who volunteer for Billo to read your Bible daily. The first thing you should do when you wake up in the morning is read your Bible, know what you read, and study to be approved. Not to be approved by me or by Billo, but to be approved by the Holy Spirit which has given the piece of Christ Jesus in your hearts. Talk with GOD throughout your day. Pray to HIM through Jesus, and be HIS personal friend. Do this, and you will have the joy and peace which Adam experienced before the fall, when God used to walk with him in the garden in the cool of the day.

Give my love to everyone, and let them know they are all in my prayers, you volunteers, Billo, and even the children who giggle while you teach a lesson I pray for. My heart is with you today, as it will be forever.  GOD Bless You

Chuck Ness

I welcome differing opinions, I do believe in free speech, just not vulgar cuss laden comments written for the only purpose of offending people in general.

Differing opinions is not what I refer to, go ahead and disagree, but in a polite way so we can have a logical respectful discussion.

By offensive, I mean by being vulgar, as in swearing, using God's name in vain, or derogatorily offensive in a way you would not talk to your own Grandmother, Mother, or daughter, and then the comment will be removed.

I may not respond to your comment promptly, and there is no way with blogger for me to respond directly to your comment,. So come back and look for me to respond in a new comment to you by the name you post your comment with.
