You Will Be Hated By All For My Name’s Sake

by Chuck Ness
“And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake" Mark 13:13
This is what Jesus said would happen to those who follow Him. We have been in the midst of what is a Worldwide persecution of Christians. Many think America is immune, and for years we had it easy, but the time has come, and it is already here when even Christians are being persecuted for His names sake. For no tother reason than Satan's minions have the power, and like their father the devil, they hate everything about Christ Jesus.
"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Matthew 24:9-13
Up until recent times, most Christians in America could not imagine living in a country where such things would happen in their lifetime. Who would ever imagine a time when Christians would be hated and people would betray their faith for the false prophets? I can't help but think of folks who grew up in the Bible belt or of the Laura Ingalls-type pioneers of the 19th century prairie days. Did they ever come close to imagining what that kind of world would be like? And yet here we are, actually living in such times.

It's not just imaginary anymore, because if Trump does not prevail in his lawsuits against the fraudulent and illegal election antics, Biden and Harris promise to strengthen the Hate Crime Bill Obama signed into law. Many of the supporters of Biden and Harris want Christian churches to be forced to stop preaching what the they consider hate speech being spoken from the pulpit against the LGBTQ communities. They even want the Bible banned because it contains the things God tell us is evil. Mind you, it is the very evil God spoke against that they want to normalize.

We know it is but a matter of time before the United States government will begin persecuting Christians for things we teach from Scriptures. Just for quoting the truths mentioned in the Scriptures from the Bible will be deemed as a hate crime. This blog will be shutdown, and I could face fine and imprisonment for writing many of the things I write. Yet, I for one will never stop standing up for the things God tells me to stand up for.

This is real, this is now. Jesus Christ knew that this day would come, and he spoke of it when He walked among us. We are living during a time when we will see attacks on Christians, and conservative political radio, escalate as it has in Canada, because of newly adopted hate crime language in the law. It is clear to me that we must be ready to stand up and fight for what is right. I know that not all of us have a public reach through web logs (blogs), radio, books, and TV. But at the very least, we must stand up for our Christian principles in our communities and with our friends and family.

As we approach the time we celebrate the birth of Christ, let us remember why He came. Christ was the light that entered the world so that men could be set free from the darkness, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:19.

Edmund Burke said once, “All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing." Well we now live at a time when evil abounds, and it's incumbent upon Godly men to stand for what is right, regardless of what the ramifications may be. Sharing the gospel means to share the light with those in the dark, and that means we must stand up for the truth.

I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear His voice and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

I welcome differing opinions, I do believe in free speech, just not vulgar cuss laden comments written for the only purpose of offending people in general.

Differing opinions is not what I refer to, go ahead and disagree, but in a polite way so we can have a logical respectful discussion.

By offensive, I mean by being vulgar, as in swearing, using God's name in vain, or derogatorily offensive in a way you would not talk to your own Grandmother, Mother, or daughter, and then the comment will be removed.

I may not respond to your comment promptly, and there is no way with blogger for me to respond directly to your comment,. So come back and look for me to respond in a new comment to you by the name you post your comment with.
