An interesting lesson was given to me. Please follow my thinking on this. Consider this about our walk in this World as a born again child in Christ
While reading through Leviticus in my morning quiet time, I came to Leviticus 21:10. This is where GOD gives HIS regulations to the son’s of Aaron, which the line of High Priests are to come from, as to how they are to conduct themselves.
In particular, this part speaks of how the priests are to act towards the dead. One regulation is that the one’s anointed to be high Priests among their brethren, are never ever to uncover their head nor ever tear their cloths.
A couple of things, first off we read in both Matthew 26:65 and Mark 14:63 that after Jesus affirmed that HE is the Son of man, that the High Priest tore his cloths, in direct violation to the regulation set forth by GOD Himself in Leviticus 22:10.
I find it an ironic action that revealed to him who Jesus truly is, because probably the only right time for a priest to tear their clothes is when they recognize what they have done to the Creator of the universe! Even if the priest himself did not realize it, he may have been moved to do so due to the guilt in his soul.
Now, for the other item, and probably a more serious point to take into consideration as I meditated on this passage.
If you go to a revelation Revelation chapter 21 you will read that it begins with John seeing the new heaven and the new earth, and then the holy city, “New Jerusalem” coming down as a bride adorned for her husband.
Now in 21:4, we read that there will be no more death and no more sorrow as every tear is washed away. Mind you, this is after the bride of Christ is given fine linen, a robe if you will, of righteousness. Revelation 19:8 states;
“””””And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.”””””
Now back to Leviticus 21:10 where the regulation given to the High Priesthood that they should never uncover their head nor ever tear their cloths.
You must understand this was proceeded by the regulation of how a priest shall act when a loved one dies, they shall not show sorrow in anyway. Thus they cannot tear their clothing.
Remember in Leviticus 10:6 Moses told Aaron and his remaining sons not to uncover their heads nor tear their cloths over their grief of the death of Aaron’s sons who offered profane fire to the incense.
Later in Leviticus 20:10 GOD hands down HIS the regulation for how a high priest is to act by not showing any remorse or sadness over the death of his two sons.
Well in Revelations 24 we now understand that those in Christ can rejoice that there will be no sadness and nor tears in the New Jerusalem of the the new heaven and new earth.
I also believe it speaks to the way we, as children of Christ, truly need to live in this World. We are to walk circumspect-fully, as if we are already in heaven with Christ, where there is no sorrow.
Tough to understand I agree, yet if we are in Christ and He is living in us, since our body is His tabernacle, then we should understand that we truly should not show grief for that which we cannot change.
What is, is, and all we can do is accept what GOD has allowed. Oh I understand that we are all works in progress. Yet if you take the work of Christ to its logical conclusion, then we in Christ are all dead to this World. Truth is, since the moment Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, we have all been placed in death row. So we are all, “Dead Men Walking.” Thus we should live in accordance to it understanding.
We as priests for Christ, need to act accordingly. Like Aaron was told, we too should grow spiritually to the point where we can not only show the World where our faith lies, but also be faithful to GOD in how we carry our selves. We do so by putting ourselves in the position of a priest. Not that we follow the law, nor the ceremonial regulations, but as priests just the same.
We are saved, so now we must show the World we are new creatures in Christ by accepting that which GOD has allowed in our lives. Up to, and including, the acceptance of the death of a loved one.
The time to worry and be in sorrow is while are praying for those at the door of death. We do so for their healing, and for their salvation if they are lost.
Yet if they are saved, and died, then we should rejoice that they took an early flight to where we one day will catch up to them.
If they are lost, we need to understand that like Aaron’s sons, who offered profane fire, they chose their destination by violating GOD’s commands and are where they do chose to be.
We cannot change it, and when we truly understand it from GOD’s perspective then we are finally walking with HIM as if we are already in Heaven, where there is no sorrow and no tears.
I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear His voice and call upon the name of the lord Jesus Christ. Amen

I welcome differing opinions, I do believe in free speech, just not vulgar cuss laden comments written for the only purpose of offending people in general.
Differing opinions is not what I refer to, go ahead and disagree, but in a polite way so we can have a logical respectful discussion.
By offensive, I mean by being vulgar, as in swearing, using God's name in vain, or derogatorily offensive in a way you would not talk to your own Grandmother, Mother, or daughter, and then the comment will be removed.
