The Scarlet Thread

Every Christian understands that we are saved by the blood of Christ, because HE was the perfect Lamb which was sacrificed for our sins from the beginning of time. (Revelation 13:8). Every infirmity HE healed, every pain HE helped us overcome, every dead person HE brought back to life, and every sin HE forgave, HE carried to the cross so that our sins could be forgiven. All HE asks of us is to believe, and follow HIM. Isaiah tells us that,

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed ............. He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:8 and 12

The Scarred Woman

by Chuck Ness

One day two women who lost contact 15 years earlier met on social media. This reunion would forever change the life of a teenage girl. One woman was a missionary, the other a single mother raising a teen daughter. The mother of the teen invited her long lost friend to come and visit. Knowing she had a few weeks before she would embark upon another missionary journey, the woman accepted her friend's offer.

Indianapolis is a long way from San Diego, but the trip would be good for both women to visit and go over old times. When the missionary arrived, she met her friend's teen daughter, whom she had not seen since the girl was but a toddler. The girl grew into a very beautiful young lady who was a popular cheerleader at her school. She was the type of girl who had always been part of the popular crowd, with more friends than she could count. However, while her mother was raising her to be a Christian, her heart was never truly in it as much as it was in the World.

What Are You Willing To Sacrifice?

Chuck Ness

Tertullian said that The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church. Yet today I see the church in America dying a slow death due to the fact that the Saints in America like their blood too much to offer it as a sacrifice for Christ and His church today.

That's because too many Christians in America are so connected to the world that they refuse to face the danger Christ told us we must face for Him. Jesus said to the disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 16:24-25) At the time the disciples did not understand that Jesus was going to die on the cross.

Imagine if Paul was more worried about his flesh than his soul? Paul, and the rest of the Apostles picked up their cross and followed Christ to their death. Like Paul, they faced many dangers and I am convinced they all came close to death many times before they paid the ultimate price of following Christ.

Remember, if your doing the Lords work, He does not promise that you will succeed at your task unmarked or even alive. What he promises, is eternal existence in a place He has prepared for you in one of the Fathers mansions. If you die in the process of carrying that cross, then the Lord is saying your work in the world is complete and it's time to take up residence in your new home in Heaven.

I do know one thing. Christ is watching Christians in America who are so comfortable in their life that they will never even consider risking it all for Him. Is that you?

I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear His voice and call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Separated No More

By Chuck Ness

Most people seem to be confused as to when the New Testament times began, and the Old Testament times ended. Do you know, and do you know why?

The misconception on this matter comes from both non-Christians and Christians alike. It's understandable that non-Christians would be confused about this matter, but many Christians are also confused. Sadly, many Christians seldom, if ever, read their Bible. When they do it's because they are told by their Pastor, on Sunday morning, to open up their Bibles and turn to a specified Scripture. Then they will look at the book while the Pastor reads the Scripture.

Mary & Joseph Travel To Bethlehem To Have A Child

And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the Inn.

The Price Of Liberty

by Chuck Ness

We are entering another election year, and this one is as important as the one which put Donald Trump in the oval Office. Now is not the time to sit on your laurels. We need everyone to understand the importance of repeating what we did on November 8, 2016. The establishment is doing all it can to stop the process of cleaning out the swamp. Mind you, the "Swamp" consists of members from both the Republican and Democrat parties. Our Founding Fathers warned us to be alert, if we desire to keep that which they gave us.
"The price of liberty is eternal vigilance" Thomas Jefferson
History records, that when Benjamin Franklin walked out the doors of Independence Hall at the end of the 1787 Constitutional Convention, A woman asked him,
"Well, Doctor, what have we got, a Republic or a Monarchy?"
Benjamin replied,
"A Republic my dear. If you can keep it."
