Lessons On Life From Home Plate

Chris Sperry

Most people won’t take the time to read this all the way to the end. I hope that you will. 17 INCHES” – you will not regret reading this

An excellent article to read from beginning to end.

Twenty years ago, in Nashville, Tennessee, during the first week of January, 1996, more than 4,000 baseball coaches descended upon the Opryland Hotel for the 52nd annual ABCA’s convention.

While I waited in line to register with the hotel staff, I heard other more veteran coaches rumbling about the lineup of speakers scheduled to present during the weekend. One name kept resurfacing, always with the same sentiment — “John Scolinos is here? Oh, man, worth every penny of my airfare.”

Never Back Down To Political Correctness

by Chuck Ness

Churches need to stop being at the mercy of the liberal mindset, the government, or even their own congregations and start being at the mercy of God.

Clergy long ago spoke the truth to their flock, during the revolutionary war, and after. They would not only minister to the families, they would be involved in the daily lives of the people. They would fight next to them in battle, walk with them many hard miles in cold harsh winters.

They did not sit comfortably by while their flock suffered. Pastors would guide and direct their churches. They would instruct them on many issues in life. They did not walk around on their tip toes among their church family, instead they would lead them, they would help them to pave the way in many areas of life.

Do You Follow a Religion, ar Christ?

by Chuck Ness

I do not follow a religion, I follow Christ who is the door to the Father, the One in whom I have a relationship with.

That is why Jesus said he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Him. He is the One we follow because to get to your destination you must follow the right path.

Judge’s Rules Global Warming is a Religion

by Chuck Ness

In a ruling that is sure to cause more headaches than the left realizes, a British judge has ruled in favor of a man who was fired on grounds that he was unfairly dismissed due to religious views. Judge David Sneath ruled that an executive fired from a property company can claim he was unfairly dismissed because of his “philosophical belief in climate change”. The judge ruled that Global Warming was the man’s religion and thus his right to religious expression was violated when they fired him.
